Well, all good things.. Occasionally need a little bit of modification.
Thanks everyone for participating in the first newsletter trivia challenge. Our three winners for last week were (in order of response time):
- Martin Alexander
- Wolfling
- Albert Wong
Special mention to Theresa Boden, who managed to correctly identify the bonus question before the final answer came in for that. I'm making a couple of minor changes to the rules, please see below if you choose to enter this week.
This week's questions:
- A percent ("%") is 1/100th, indicating a fractional value; what do you call 1/1000th?
- What two languages (or writing systems) were connected by the original Rosetta Stone?
Bonus (free shot): Where was the last home of the people mentioned in today's email ascribed to Rob and Joyce below?
Wow - sellout show last Saturday! Eugene Pao, Ted Lo, and A Hong managed to pack the place last weekend, and tore up the jazz standards with their completely original and organic thoughts on the topic. Thanks everyone for coming, and remember that if you didn't catch them last week, you'll have another chance to hear their musical stylings on April 12th.
