(Mailing list information, including unsubscription instructions,
is located at the end of this message.)
Once more into the breach, dear friends.
I don't know where you people found the energy! Thank you for making our second monthly Wine Tasting at Fresco at success! But if that wasn't enough, Bone Table definitely knew exactly what to play for you on Friday, with another great night of their uniquely Hong Kong twisted original music to cross from the beginning of your night well into where the second plan should have kicked in. And last but not least, it was a racy farewell to Robbin Harris on Saturday, and we hope everyone managed to convince him to come back to HK sometime soon.
The recent past is all well and good, but this is what you have to look forward to (Mar 17 - Mar 23):
- Monday: Ready to discover Hong Kong's (re)new(ing)est secret? Drop by and see (10PM)
- Tuesday: The Frenetically Facetuous Free-shooting Fresco Fiddling musicians fixate your auditory faculties (10PM)
- Wednesday: Guy Le Claire continues his Wednesday night residency with overtones of Funk and Groove interplayed in his own style of Jazz, joining powers with his trio (9PM)
- Thursday: HK's number 1 jazz pianist Ted Lo rejoins the Rickard Malmsten trio for another cool night of jazz (9PM)
- Friday: Amsterdam based mandolinist sensation Wolfling brings you something out of the ordinary to folk start your weekend (9:30PM)
- Saturday: Indonesian jazz singer Mia Samira joins guitarist Dan LaVelle and stand-up bassist Mike Carr for their night of acoustic jazz (9:30PM)
- Sunday: Shoichi Chinda and Kayoko Haruta host this week's Chill Out at Fresco night, where you can catch spontaneous music performances from different HK music pros that you probably won't find playing together anywhere else (while receiving their Manager's Discount on their drinks, of course) (8PM)
Here's the poster for Ted:

And of course, the Mia Samira Jazz Trio:
Aside from our hosts we never can be sure who might show up on Chill Out at Fresco on a Sunday night, but we're glad that a number of musicians dropped by last time for some inspiring licks while they wound down their work weeks. Make sure not to miss more improv performances this Sunday!
One last word, I'm happy to say that jazz guitarist Eugene Pao will be playing with Ted Lo (this time on drums) and bassist A Hong on March 29th, so make sure to mark down next Saturday in your little black books.
