Hey, thank you everyone who showed up for the Muse, our holiday party last week; it was a lot of fun, and Mark Peter and Co. really livened things up with their usual fare of soulful R&B musical performance.
We have a special treat on the schedule for this week, with Swedish jazz sensation, the Anna Nygren Quartet, coming on Thursday to perform a blend of her "cool melancholic jazz" ballads, as well as some other treats off her debut album "Just Wanna Say I'm Sorry".
But don't take our word for it--see what the "Sunday Morning Post" said last week!
Also, this Wednesday, we'd like to welcome all members of the media for our Media Night, Scoop, featuring an additional discount if you show a media business card until close.
On the roster for the week (Dec 10 - Dec 16):
- Monday: Shh.. don't be too loud before the holidays!
- Tuesday: Fresco Open Mic Night and Get Rid of Guy for the rest of the year party! Come to play or just to listen (9:30PM - close)
- Wednesday: "Scoop". Members of the media, two for one drinks all night long, general public welcome as well (8PM - close)
- Thursday: The Anna Nygren Quartet, performing to assuage your melancholic soul (8:30PM)
- Friday: Bone Table returns again, for another night of original music capturing a blend of soulful country, dirty blues, with a uniquely HK twist (9:30PM)
- Saturday: The general public is welcome until 9PM, but then we have a private Christmas party from 9PM until close (but smooth jazz returning next week!)
- Sunday: Our improvisational piano jazz favorite, Nelson Hiu (9PM)
Make sure you try out our new festive hour special for the month of December: if you come between 5PM and 8PM (5PM and 10PM on Wednesdays), you can enjoy any two drinks on our menu for the price of one.
